Job Description: The Rialto Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Production Coordinator who will act as Master Electrician/Lighting Designer. This person will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all Rialto lighting equipment. Qualified canidates should have at least five years experience working with state of the art lighting equipment; know how to maintain fixtures, cables, and peripherals; and have an understanding of standard lighting practices in a roadhouse environment. Applicants should have adequate lighting design experience and be able to run an electrics crew of six. The production coordinator will assist the stage manager in supervising the stage crew, and executing all advance show plans. The coordinator will also assist in creating advance show plans, working with clientele to create an optimal performance. The canidate will need to posess excellent communication skills when dealing with clientele as well as the ability to show grace under pressure.

The Rialto produces a series which will require basic lighting design skills to be applied. Touring and theatrical background is a plus. Applicants should posess a high standard for their craft, reliable transportation, be physically fit, be able to work long hours on nights and weekends, have no fear of heights, and be physically fit.
